Nội dung thông cáo (Situation):
Lái xe liên tục với nhiệt độ xung quanh cao, dừng đỗ, sau đó tiếp tục chạy trong khoảng thời gian dài sẽ dẫn tới hiện tượng động cơ bị giảm công suất.
Quạt gió máy lạnh cũng sẽ giảm công suất va trong 1 số trường hợp, máy nén ngưng hoạt động.
1 hoặc 2 lỗi sau sẽ xuất hiện trong hộp DME:
- 1A2108: Electric fan, self-diagnosis, interval stage 1: Minor fan fault
- 241400: Electric fan, diagnosis feedback 1: Fan slightly stiff

- When driving with high outside ambient temperatures, repeated stop and go, or high-load operation over longer distances, the engine performance can be reduced.
The air-conditioning system blower output may also be reduced, and in some circumstances, the compressor is switched off.

One or both of the following faults are stored in the DME:
^ 1A2108: Electric fan, self-diagnosis, interval stage 1: Minor fan faul
^ 241400: Electric fan, diagnosis feedback 1: Fan slightly stiff

The Service Engine Soon lamp (MIL) would not be illuminated in these situations.

Nguyên nhân ( Cause):

- Phần mềm DME bị lỗi khi xe chjay tốc độ cao, thiết kế quạt làm mát không đủ mạnh để hoạt động liên tục ở tốc độ cao.
- A DME software error in the control of the 600W electric fan over-boost or high speed function.
- The electric cooling fan design was not robust enough for continuous over-boost or high-speed operation.

Giải pháp ( Correction):

- Chuẩn đoán lỗi bằng ISTA/D, tùy từng lỗi để có cách khắc phục thích hợp. Thay quạt làm mát. Và lập trình ISTA/P lại cho xe
- All other engine-related faults must be diagnosed using ISTA/D and resolved prior to proceeding.
- Replace the fan housing with a 600W electric fan.
^ The improved parts were introduced into production at the beginning of May 2014 and can by identified by a new part number.
- Program the vehicle using the latest version of ISTA/P.
